About

University of Manchester Conservative Future is the official embodiment of the Conservative Party on campus. As a society our main aim is to campaign for the election of a Conservative government and to get Conservatives elected locally. In the process of doing that, however, we have regular socials, events and campaign days all over Greater Manchester and beyond. In the past UMCF members have stood for Manchester City Council and many have gone on to bigger and better things in the world of politics.

We in the North-West are lucky to be in an area where the outcomes will be decisive in the next general election. As such we will be able to look back at our actions and know that it was our work which brought about change. Labour cannot be allowed to continue to run our country down. It is up to all of us to stop them and to deliver a Conservative government to fix the mess this country is in.

I have always taken the view that politics will never change unless the people stand up and do something about it. It’s why I got involved, it’s why you should. So if you want to make Britain a better place for everyone, if you want to make sure your voice is counted; stand up, join us and get involved!
