(Clean up our Campus)
Following on from a few years ago, UMCF will once again be helping maintain the beauty of the University of Manchester, aided by our friends at MMU, by removing unnecessary flyposting from Campus. To this end we are instituting an contest to see who can collect the most posters throughout 2012.
All posters will be counted at UMCF meetings at the end of each contest, with the winner receiving a FREE Alcoholic Beverage!!! (Within reason)…
Eligible Materials:
- Socialist Worker Posters
- Action Palestine Posters
- Communist Party Posters
- Anarchist Posters
- General Socialist/Marxist Propaganda
Please bring all posters you remove to our event. They will then be counted and “recycled”.
The following are not eligible:
- Posters put up by commercial companies (nightclubs etc.)
- Posters promoting Student Union Elections
- Posters put up by mainstream parties bearing an imprint
DON’T FORGET: What we’re doing is entirely legal. They are breaking the law by flyposting. We are performing a civic service by removing them.
